Nancy Barnett, President of ERMA Institute, LLC

Nancy has spent the last 25 years in adult education. The first 10 years were spent at National Education Center, a large California business college, first as an instructor, then as the Business Department Chairperson, and finally as the Education Director developing and delivering curriculum to prepare students for careers in the business community. She has spent the last 15 years as the Director of Training, AAA Colorado developing and delivering training to AAA employees. During that time she developed a customer service/quality control program that was proved to raise customer service ratings. She also developed and implemented management and leadership programs including: time management, stress management, communication skills, strategic planning, interviewing skills and sales development.

As the AAA's business/employee coach she worked with front-line employees and all levels of management to improve sales and customer service. Nancy also worked with the Executive Team to develop and implement three of AAA's Five-Year Strategic Plan.

Nancy has worked with the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in their Self-Employment Division to educate clients on the following subjects:
• Accounting principles and QuickBooks training
• Sales Techniques and Strategies
• Target Marketing and Branding for their small business

She has also worked with clients to develop and write their business plans to obtain start-up funding.

Susan Schutz, President of Apis Business Solutions, LLC

Susan is the President of Apis Business Solutions, LLC. Her organization serves start-up and established businesses set-up and maintain their accounting from a proactive point of view. Helping business owners understand how to use their books as a prime management tool allows them to make better strategic decisions for their company.

Susan actually started her own bookkeeping service in the Denver Metro area in 1997 after recovering from the affects of a life-changing illness, Multiple Sclerosis. Even with remission, it became apparent to her that a regular 40 hour week, 9-5 schedule would not allow her to manage both her health concerns and income requirements. With 20 plus years experience in the bookkeeping industry she has worked with micro-to-medium-sized businesses in a multitude of fields including but not limited to oil and gas, medical, architectural, construction, real estate sales and development, service, retail, business insurance, marketing and venture capital helping them track and improve their financial business success.

John Josephson, Small Business Financial Officer (SBFO) of Apis Business Solutions, LLC

John has 14 years of experience in financial management, accounting and operations. A majority of his professional career has been dedicated to nonprofit financial management, accounting and operations. He has worked for grassroots organizations, a community action Head Start agency, a fraternal order, large membership organizations, foundations and a community-giving fund.

Accounting, internal controls, managing cost controls and developing streamlined-intuitive operational procedures come naturally to him

Mike Saunders, President of Marketing Huddle LLC and Published Author

Mike Saunders holds an MBA in Marketing and helps small business owners increase sales using online marketing.
In addition to coaching and consulting clients in his firm Marketing Huddle LLC,  Mike enjoys teaching Marketing as an Adjunct Marketing Professor at select Colleges and Universities.Mike also is a Marketing Consultant with the Denver Small Business Development Center (SBDC).
